Welcome to The Bistro. Situated right in the heart of Ayr on the Sandgate, I created this venue to be the kind of place where you instantly feel at home.

Whether you’re popping in for a weekend lunch, settling into a cosy booth for a romantic dinner or enjoying crafted cocktails to kick off your evening. 

Our goal is always to deliver fantastic food in a warm, intimate atmosphere. My team and I are passionate about celebrating authentic Scottish flavours.

We source top-quality meat from local farmers alongside fresh regional seafood, putting a modern, thoughtful twist on classic dishes. Paired with our curated wine list, signature drinks, and attentive service, we aim to make every visit feel like you're dining with old friends.
